In addition, I have acted as a jury member for Phase 1 and 2 of National Student Innovation Challenge (NSIC) 2023 and the Leadership Curriculum Event 2022 encouraging student innovation and leadership.
I have been recognized and awarded the title of 'Volunteer Champion' for two consecutive years and felicitated on Teacher's Day 2021 for my contribution to the development of Teaching Learning Strategies. As a student mentor in NSIC, I have brought together students from rural and urban India to work on projects based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, I have contributed to the organization's capacity-building initiative by recording training videos to enable asynchronous training of stakeholders.
I was nominated as 'Volunteer Champion' for the national iVolunteer awards, a testament to my commitment to serving the community. Finally, I have also conducted orientation sessions for new volunteer teachers on online classroom management techniques, sharing knowledge and empowering others.

The UNLEASH Global Innovation Lab is a platform that brings individuals from around the world to work on innovative solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a global talent for UNLEASH 2023, I led a team of five individuals and worked on SDG 6, Clean Water and Sanitation, to tackle the issue of dye-contaminated wastewater from textile industries near the Turag river.
Our team solution aimed to address the environmental and health impacts of textile wastewater pollution in the river by implementing a cost-effective monitoring system. Our team reached the Testing stage in 3 days by transcending roadblocks while having continuous faith in the impact of our solution.
As a South Asia Community Leader at Wikitongues, my role involved managing more than 1000+ volunteers residing in South Asia weekly and documenting languages in order to preserve them and save oral histories.
My work in translating and proofreading video subtitles on Amara helped make videos accessible to a wider audience and ensured that the subtitles accurately reflect the spoken language. I also created blog posts that highlight the importance of language preservation and the impact Wikitongues is having in South Asia and beyond. As a community leader, my role involved fostering collaboration and building relationships with other organizations and individuals working in language preservation and documentation in turn helping to expand the reach and impact of Wikitongues in South Asia and beyond.
